I have a Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Doctor of Medicine, and am residency trained in General Surgery.

I have practiced General Surgery for 35 years and specialized in the Laparoscopic Treatment of Hiatus Hernia and Gastroesophageal Reflux Disease.  Five years ago I retired from Surgery and now work fulltime as an Emergency Medicine Physician.

I currently also supervise several Physician Assistants and Nurse Practitioners, I work in a network of Suboxone Clinics, and I am the Medical Director of a Home Healthcare Company.  I am also the Medical Director of a Company called Vortek Surgical which builds and markets endoscopic procedure drapes and an Endoscopic Support Pillow.

I hold three patents and two trademarks with reference to these products.
